Welcome to this week's Sunshine Coast Fishing Report! The weather hasn't been great for fishing this past week, with wet and windy conditions persisting across the region. Unfortunately, it looks like this pattern will continue into the weekend, so land-based options might be your best bet for wetting a line. Offshore conditions are looking quite ordinary due to the poor weather. This weeks report will be shorter than usual due to the recent poor conditions.
Offshore
The past week saw some good fishing offshore, with some impressive catches. Anglers at Caloundra Wide reported catches of Cobia and Amberjack, while Snapper and Pearl Perch were plentiful at the Barwon Banks. This weekend is not looking favorable due to the bad weather, so offshore trips may need to be postponed until conditions improve.
Estuary
It's been a quieter week in the rivers due to the weather, but there are still some catches to report. The Maroochy and Noosa Rivers have seen plenty of Bream and Flathead, providing some decent action for those who have ventured out. Similarly, the passage at Caloundra has yielded Bream and Flathead, despite the poor weather conditions.
